Act For Congo

Mission: Identify, partner with and accelerate catalysts for change in the DR Congo and other countries of the Great Lakes Region to improve health for women and their communities. Additionally, ACT for Congo will educate North America about the challenges and opportunities of partnership, with a focus on innovative and integrated programs that cultivate community, empower women, and foster health. ACT for Congo's current partner is AGIR RDC, a Congolese nonprofit with years of experience in trauma healing and empowerment through an integrated approach to community health and vocational training in North Kivu, DR Congo.@AGIR RDC, Experience, trust, research, monitoring and evaluation are key to partnership development.
