Actio Prosperitas Property

Actio Prosperitas (Pty) Ltd began trading as an independent property consultancy in 2003, specialising in leasing, property management and asset management of retail, commercial, mixed use and industrial properties for institutional and private investors. Actio was appinted leasing consultant to Kgoro Central, a 180 m² mixed use development above the Sandton Station. The site borders 5th Street, Rivonia Road, West Street and Nelson Mandela Square and includes retail facilities, hotels, apartments and offices. The owners/directors of Actio have collectively over 60 years property experience, ranging from small town high street retail to suburban, regional and super-regional centres in all South Africa's major cities, including Sandton City, Tyger Valley Shopping Centre, Nelson Mandela Square, Eastgate, Menlyn Park, Michelangelo Towers Mall, Legacy Corner, Gateway, The Zone @ Rosebank and Liberty Midlands Mall. Experience includes leasing, property management and asset management of retail, commercial, industrial and specialized properties, including hotels and conference centres. To focus the company's efforts on leasing Kgoro Central, Actio relinquished the redevelopment, leasing and management of residential buildings in the greater Johannesburg CBD. Actio’s involvement with one of these buildings included the concept design and implementation of the property’s redevelopment from hijacked eyesore to an upmarket mixed use property comprising furnished luxury apartments, serviced suites, boutique hotel and retail space. In 2007, Actio entered into a JV partnership with a national property management company, to establish a Sandton interface for that company. Actio was responsible in JV for all aspects of the management of a R6 billion national portfolio, consisting of public sector, institutional, listed and privately owned properties, for Vukile, Old Mutual, Ambit, Pareto/Metropolitan and private owners. Actio withdrew from the JV partnership in 2009.
