Action Dolpo

Created in 1993, Action Dolpo is an NGO working in the field of education and health in Dolpo (Nepal). The Crystal Mountain School in the Tarap Valley m above sea level) has about 200 students, from nursery to secondary school level. In addition to Nepali, English and classical subjects, the children have classes in Tibetan, dance, painting and traditional songs. A bioclimatic building offers accommodation and a greenhouse with vegetables. The best students go to Kathmandu to continue their studies and are housed in a residence rented by the association: Snow Leopard Residence. Former students from the project are now in key positions for the life of their community in Dolpo (education, health, administration.).
