Active Aging Competence Center

The Active Aging Competence Center (CCEA) aims to promote a positive approach to aging by empowering professionals to offer distinctive and high-quality care and services, which contribute to improving the quality of life for the elderly. With a special focus on training and knowledge transfer, the CCEA seeks to equip its trainees with the skills needed to meet the challenges and needs of older adults. By working with multidisciplinary teams – spanning health, education, psychology, and social assistance – the CCEA aims to develop innovative, person-centered approaches rather than service-centered ones. The CCEA strives to establish itself as a reference center in the field of training, helping to promote autonomy, social inclusion, and the quality of life of older people.
