We have two Physiotherapy clinics, one based in Gisborne’s largest gym complex and the second in the main GP centre in the city, allowing us to see a variety of patients and in constant demand. Active Physiotherapy Clinic provides a range of services including manual therapy, myofascial release, spinal treatment, sports rehabilitation, treadmill analysis, post-operative care, hydrotherapy and acupuncture. We hold a number of healthcare contracts including vocational rehabilitation and post-operative care and more recently expanding into additional varied care options. This ensures we have a strong referral base from local GP clinics as well as orthopaedic specialists and self-referrals. To maintain a high standard of care we provide ongoing educational funding for staff and hold regular educational in-service training. At Active Physiotherapy Clinic we pride ourselves on the fact that all patients receive 1 to 1 care and are allocated 45 minute to 1 hour long appointments.
