ActiveWomen is a Singapore-based fitness company dedicated to empowering women through all life stages, especially during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, and general strength training. Founded by Danielle van der Leest, a Dutch-born, ACE-certified personal trainer, women’s fitness specialist, and mother of three (relocated to Singapore ~10 years ago), ActiveWomen was inspired by her own journey through motherhood and her passion to help others feel mentally and physically strong during these pivotal phases. ActiveWomen’s personalized, science-backed approach integrates tailored strength training, prenatal and postnatal Yoga, pelvic floor care, nutrition coaching, and lifestyle support. Clients can choose from various delivery modes: individual or small-group personal training at gyms in Dempsey, Anson, Katong, or home visits; and online virtual sessions. More than just workouts, ActiveWomen aims to cultivate confidence, balance, and holistic well‑being. Coaching includes education on form, mindset, and sustainable habits, often supported by a close-knit, all-female community and regular progress check-ins.
