ActiVets is a 501.c3 mission driven organization established to help heal the wounds of war by providing transformative outdoor experiences to combat veterans. Our unique approach uses the power of wilderness to help veterans overcome the mental and physical damage that can result from service during America’s military conflicts. Through our river retreats, we empower veterans to reconnect with nature, themselves, and each other to find healing, solace, and renewal in the beauty and challenge of the natural world. We are committed to creating a community of support and understanding for veterans, and to helping them build brighter futures for themselves and their loved ones.
