Ad Standards Council Philippines

The Ad Standards Council, the country’s advertising body that oversees screening and content regulation of advertising materials across all medium and platforms. Ad Standards Council abides by the Advertising Code of Ethics and Standards, a comprehensive and current guide continuously updated to align with the fast-paced and agile changes in the ad and communications industry. Foremost, the ASC Code of Ethics is designed for consumer protection and works with the best interest of the community and society. The ASC consists of seven member associations representing the extent of the advertising and communication industry. These members, namely 4As (ad agencies), immap (digital and online), KBP (broadcasters), MSAP (media agencies), OHAAP (out of home agencies), PANA (clients and brands) and UPMG (print media) all work in the interest of delivering excellent and creative content in pursuit of consumer protection. A non-stock, non-profit unit, the ASC works closely with government entities including DTI, FDA, MTRCB, DOH, and HSAC. ASC is also a member of the World Federation of Advertisers.
