We have been involved in the business of self storage ever since the concept was introduced into the UK in the early 1980s. In 2003 we were fortunate to have the opportunity to acquire the Grade II Listed Swan Lane Mill on Higher Swan Lane, Bolton in the heartland of the former Lancashire cotton industry. At the time we took over, this glorious example of Victorian industrial architecture lay empty and in danger of dilapidation. It has been with great pleasure that we have been able to carefully restore and renovate the building, bringing it back to life to fulfil a vibrant role in Bolton and surrounding areas, in the provision of storage, light industrial and office units. From the springboard of our success in Bolton we opened a further facility in Liverpool on Bridle Road, close to the Racecourse in Aintree. This has been fully refurbished into an ultra modern facility giving a high level of security and includes direct access (drive up) units. The property also benefits from a large yard with plenty of parking and under cover loading. We are now pleased to announce we have crossed the Mersey into the Wirral and our latest venture is now open on Price Street, Birkenhead. This former bank printing and distribution centre has been transformed to provide the residents of the Wirral with facilities similar to Bridle Road, with the added bonus of a recently installed internal ramp to give drive up access to undercover loading. Our objective is to provide the best in quality and the best in value.
