Adapt to Learn is an educational advisory service that can provide a wide range of practical and relevant training opportunities to help increase the understanding of autism, social communication and behaviour. Co-founders Tracy Matthews and Melanie Vijayaratnam have over 30 years’ experience working for Local Authorities in the field of Special Educational Needs. They are able to offer parents practical advice and strategies to use in the home. They can also offer staff/professional training, individual pupil assessments and bespoke interventions within an educational setting. In our experience, working together using a child-centred approach helps children and young people to communicate more successfully, understand their own emotions, reduce their anxiety and ultimately increase their self-esteem and sense of well-being.
