Adaptability

We provide two services, and excel at both! 1) Adaptability provides Professional Development training to PE teachers, Adapted PE teachers and school based Physical Therapists. We do this in person (soon to be online!) to schools across Illinois. This PD services helps educators further understand their students’ needs, modify their lessons, and ensure students are safe and successful in their curriculum. 2) Adaptability contracts Adapted PE teachers to public schools in the South, Southwest and West Chicagoland suburbs. Our ISBE licensed Adapted PE teachers come on site to provide Adapted PE classes and services. We pride ourselves on creating a positive learning environment, while teaching fun and engaging lessons! Our focus is building off of student strengths. Our direct services can be provided in a Reverse Inclusion class model with Peer Buddy support, self contained class, or one to one.
