Addere Care

We opened the first Addere Care nursing hospital in Trakai with a clear mission – to transform the culture of care in Lithuania. We believe that ageing is not a disease to be cured, but a stage of life to be lived with dignity, joy, and respect. Our philosophy is grounded in person-centered care: we focus not only on medical procedures and physical needs, but also on the spiritual and existential wellbeing of our patients. We are one of the very few facilities in Lithuania with such a dedicated pastoral and therapy team. Our services are fully covered by the National Health Insurance Fund for eligible patients – meaning no extra costs for those under state coverage. We are proud to be the exclusive Baltic partners of Queen Silvia’s Silviahemmet Foundation and a certified Silviahemmet+ institution, ensuring our staff are specially trained to care for people living with dementia. As partners of the prestigious Queen Silvia Nursing Award in Lithuania, we provide local nurses and nursing students the opportunity to participate in this international initiative that celebrates leadership, creativity, and innovation in care. Inspired by Swedish care philosophy – built on respect for the individual, family involvement, and open communication – we are determined to raise care standards in Lithuania and beyond. Soon, we will welcome our first clients to the new Addere Care hospital in Vilnius – the first of its kind in the Baltics, where professional medical care meets the comfort and atmosphere of a spa resort. Addere Care is more than a nursing hospital. It is a place where professionalism, compassion, and the belief that every stage of life deserves dignity come together.
