Adesh Jain

International- Adesh Jain is the only non-European to have been President of the Swiss registered non-profit International Project Management Association (IPMA) in IPMAs history of 54 years. IPMA comprises of 70 countries from all continents including Japan and USA. He is a Member of the Advisory Board of the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) which has members across 48 countries. Was President of International Construction Project Management Association (ICPMA), Switzerland. He is Hony. Chairman of China Construction Project Management Committee (CPMC). He was invited twice by NASA to address their annual project management conferences. In 2010, he spoke on ‘Breaking boundaries – the key to innovation’ and in 2012 he spoke on “Awakening project consciousness through stakeholders buy-in” in Orlando, Florida. He worked in Canada/ USA from 1965-1973 in the field of Artificial Intelligence, large scale computing & managing complex projects. National- He is the Chairman of International Institute of Projects & Program Management (i2P2M). In a short time of 8 years, i2P2M has become globally no. 1 in the field of executive education. He is well recognized for his passion and dedication in creating a project mindset in India. Was Independent Director of NTPC Ltd.(2009-12). Was member of the high powered task force set up by Government of India for fixing the targets for the major Central Public Sector Enterprises from 2006-12. He has trained over professionals, published over 40 papers and given over 50 keynote presentations worldwide. He was the mover and shaker of computing industry in late 70’s and 80’s. He was conferred CSI I Fellowship by Dr. SD Sharma, President of India in 1991. He worked in BHEL from 1975 - 82. In 1978 at 33 years was youngest person with General Manager powers. In short, Adesh Jain is a visionary leader shaping the project management profession globally.
