ADS Holding, is a privately owned Abu Dhabi based company which focuses on the long-term sustainable development of commodity based industries. It was established with initial capital of US$500 million. ADS Holding is a producer, trader and marketer of commodities, managed directly and through portfolio group companies. It develops investment opportunities which deliver value added integrated solutions to the market. In September 2010 a 40 per cent stake has been taken in Baobab Investments, which develops trade enabling infrastructure; and in March 2011 a trade and brokerage company was established, ADS Securities, which provides forex and commodities trading to a mix of regional and global customers.
