Advait Welfare Foundation is a section 8 – Not for profit organization started their voyage in the year 2021 with the motto to ensure sustainable menstrual hygiene rights for under privileged women and girl child in India. The project of Advait is PWP – Period with Pride, An initiative of IIM Kolkata alumni women group is serving woman and girl child with awareness, education, supplying sanitary napkins, installation of sanitary napkin vending machine and incinerators, setting up low cost sanitary napkins production unit at block level. MISSION: • To make women and girl child aware about their menstruation rights. • To address school dropouts of (as per survey every year 2.3 CR girl child dropout from their early secondary education due to IIM MHM) menstruating girl child in India. • To ensure minimization of woman health issues caused by menstruation management. • PWP is run by women, for the woman, standing by the woman.
