AAS has a growing list of consultants with similar expertise that can be accessed via AAS in addition to Dr. Touchton himself. A finalist in all three DARPA Grand Challenges and a seasoned expert in autonomous systems, applied AI, and supporting technologies, Dr. Touchton helps clients Discover the role, value, and use of AI-based intelligent autonomy, and then helps them Design and Deploy a solution. His decades of engineering, software development and business leadership experience, coupled with a 2006 PhD focused on autonomous robotics, enable him to innovate and create solutions in a wide variety of application areas and operational domains.
