Advanced Counselor Training, LLC is a consulting company that specializes in customized clinical supervision workshops and other topics important to the behavioral healthcare field. Advanced Counselor Training, LLC was started in 2011 as response to prepare the NJ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) workforce for regulatory changes that required qualified LPCs to receive specific supervision training in NJ. This training series encompasses the educational requirements for the 45 educational hours needed to become an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). We also specialize in Certified Clinical Supervision (CCS) 30 hour workshop series for addictions counselors, and the 24 hour Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) training specific for Georgia LPCs. Other workshops provided include Medical and Legal Marijuana (NJ Specific Lecture), Emerging Drugs of Abuse, Legal and Ethical Issues in Substance Use Counseling, DSM-5, Motivational Interviewing and Working with Angry and Aggressive Clients.
