Advanced Mechanical Systems Ltd designs and builds bespoke robotic inspection systems for restricted access environments. We develop miniaturised crawlers; carriers; insertion tools and deployment hardware that allow clients to use their own NDT instruments inside pipework and structures where standard equipment cannot operate. Our work focuses on safety critical assets where access; time and regulatory constraints are tight. AMS supplies mechanical and mechatronic platforms rather than instruments; integrating with the probes; sensors and data acquisition systems specified by operators; inspection contractors and OEMs. AMS owns the intellectual property in its robotic platforms and tooling. These platforms are designed for re use across multiple applications and are available for bespoke projects; joint development; licensing and; where appropriate; sale as complete platform solutions.
