AMA is nationally recognised as the manufacturing sector’s trusted connector and catalyst for action. We exist to help New Zealand’s manufacturing sector realise its full potential—by bridging gaps across a fragmented ecosystem, sparking collaboration, and connecting the right people and programmes at the right time. Our role is to cut through the noise, enabling manufacturers, government, and industry partners to work together faster and more effectively. We focus on outcomes, not ownership—getting practical support into the hands of manufacturers when and where it’s needed. While we advocate for the success of the sector, our purpose is grounded in support, not politics. We’re also proud to be the home of The Future Makers - a national campaign showcasing the manufacturers, advanced technologies and future talent shaping New Zealand’s economy.
