Aegis Technologies, Inc. is a domestic speciality fire protection fittings manufacturer. The Aegis product offering consist of the Adjuster adjustable sprinkler drop and the Dropster non-adjustable sprinkler drop. The Adjuster is an inexpensive fitting that saves comeback labor by addressing the installation variances in the horizontal plane which account for the majority of comeback costs. The Dropster eliminates the traditional make-up labor of a reducing coupling and nipple in the field or shop. The Adjuster and Dropster are- Labor saving - Designed for wet or dry systems in accordance to NFPA 13, 13R, & 13D- Listed in accordance to UL 1474 5th edition with qualifying tests up to 1500 psi- Approved in accordance to FM Class 1631 with qualifying tests up to 1200 psi- Made of high strength carbon steel & high performance EPDM rubber- Machined to very close tolerances with threads conforming to ANSI B1.20.1 NPT or better- Zinc Chromate Plated for increased corrosion resistance.(Standard on the Adjuster, Optional on the Dropster)- Fully traceable with a lot number marked on each unit- Pressure tested prior to shipment- Made in U.S.A- Quality. All material batches are checked by independent laboratories to insure all material standards are met.
