However, while outdoor aeroponics can mitigate terrestrial challenges, the harsh conditions of the Martian surface necessitate a transition to controlled indoor cultivation methods. This dual approach not only enhances local food security and environmental sustainability within Saudi Arabia but also positions the kingdom to contribute significantly to future space food production and colonization endeavors.
