The company was incepted in early 2021 by a group of passionate aviation enthusiasts, as a result of the lack of availability of reliable data pertaining to the African aviation market. With the purpose of acquiring, analysing, modelling, simulating, storing and providing domestic, regional and African continental aviation market data, the company was officially registered as a limited company in January of 2023 with its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. To this end, AeroTrail will partner with Ministries of Transport (MoT), civil aviation regulators, airport operators and airline companies. Through these partnerships and collaborations, the company intends to collect and obtain statistical data that will be used for descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics that offers clients actionable solutions, fuel inclusiveness and enhance the sustainability of air transport operations across the African continent.
