AESION is an experienced institutional caliber investment manager, formed to invest its sponsor family capital together with other family offices and accredited investors through a unique Open Investment Platform. The firm exists to deliver outstanding investment propositions through a direct investment model with a “shared costs” approach that eliminates exorbitant fees. AESION benefits from over 50 years of operating and financial experience of its key people, across asset classes and industries, that allows us to identify and structure around lower risk attractive return investment opportunities. AESION shares these opportunities with similarly minded investors who are attracted to the low cost, transparent investment model, and the risk/return profile of the initiatives. By sharing our investments with others, we generate larger scale leading to a broader scope of investments and a better risk profile. AESION shares costs pari-passu amongst all investors including the sponsor family, does not charge management fees, and has a minimal profit share to incentivize the organization. AESION believes in “freedom of choice” to participate in each individual opportunity, and therefore is not a fund or other type of blind pool capital vehicle. AESION is based in Greenwich, Connecticut, and was founded in 2012 by John Karakadas on the back of a successful business track record, underpinned by unwavering principles, and a profound appreciation for both human and financial capital.
