AFCO’S ICC report is in compliance with the International Building Code (IBC) and International Residential Code (IRC). AFCO offers over 50 years of experience in the home building industry. Our name is most notably associated with manufacturing adjustable steel columns; however we do provide a variety of other products used in the building industry. All AFCO columns are built in the United States and follow a strict quality control third-party verification process. Building officials, architects, contractors, builders, inspectors, and design professionals utilize our ICC-ES Evaluation report to ensure that our columns are code compliant. Our report provides the necessary technical information for approving our column in construction projects. Our ICC report is designed to provide information to the building code officials, so they can make the determination of what is acceptable.
