Affinity Africa (founded in 2013), an established owner and operator of financial services companies in sub-Saharan Africa, made its first investment in 2015 acquiring PayFlex Microfinance Company Limited, a licensed deposit-collecting financial institution in Ghana that has been in operation since 2010. The acquisition was completed in 2020 and received a Savings and Loans license in 2022, and is now known as Affinity Ghana Savings and Loans.
