Afreenergy

Afreenergy is an integrated renewable energy player committed to bridging the funding gap for clean energy access in Africa. The company focuses on developing, financing, building, and operating solar and hydro projects on the African continent- Through Afreenergy Solar, a fully integrated solar and storage IPP with a focus on C&I and distributed generation. The platform has already developed and built a portfolio of over 300 MW of projects- Through a dedicated hydro team that manages the entire project life of small and medium run-of-river power plants in Africa. To date, the hydro division manages the development of 260MW of projects. Afreenergy’s activity is based on an impact-oriented approach to provide better access to electricity, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and bring economic benefits to local communities.
