Africa Makerspace Network

The Africa Makerspace Network is a community of makers, innovators, hobbyists, researchers, students and hubs that uses tools and equipment within a structured space for skills development, knowledge sharing and ultimately solving community problems. The goal of AMN is to promote the maker movement by ensuring the growth and sustainability of makerspaces in Africa. The network harmonizes makerspaces, hackerspaces, labs and other hubs within Africa under one umbrella and offers technical, organizational and entrepreneurial programs to help build their capacity and enhance prototype-to-product development, for the purpose of ensuring growth and attaining sustainable development in Africa.
