AFCONE works alongside the African Union, other Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zones, the United Nations, and other global stake holders and intergovernmental organisations in ongoing efforts to promote nuclear non-proliferation and to rid the world of nuclear weapons. AFCONE also promotes the civil applications of nuclear energy for sustainable socioeconomic development in Africa. Our ethos is rooted in the pursuit of world peace, security, and prosperity.
