AfriPro is a digital platform designed to empower African footballers to create their profiles, upload their Cvs, videos, you-tube links and even transfer market links to give them needed digital visibility to be monitored and scouted by top teams across Europe. The goal for this platform is to eradicate the exploitation of African footballers by fake agents. African footballers are overly desperate to leave the continents with the hopes of playing in Europe and to them that means at any costs. Due to the desperate nature of most African footballers to leave their respective countries seeking greener pastures abroad, they become victims of scams by fake agents. We are digitizing the player acquisition model. One other major factor we are trying to solve is the lack of digital visibility. Virtually 95% African footballers playing in Africa do not have digital presence and this is one major factor affecting the growth and development of footballers in Africa, not only locally but also to compete on digital platforms. We are living in a digital age and football has gone digital, for most players playing Europe it is easy or at least almost certain to get a chance to be seen by teams across the world unlike African footballers. There are few big digital scouting platforms designed to scout top talents across the world, sadly none of these platforms are focused in the African market due to lack of existing data. Also African footballers cannot afford it as they are expensive, difficult to use and designed for Premium players, agents and footballers from privileged background leaving African footballers at the mercy of predatory agents.
