Afro Student Association

The Afro Student Association (ASA) recognises the need for a community of Afro students to maneuver, navigate and negotiate within the academic and social sphere. Therefore, our mission and goal is to improve the lives of Afro students in The Hague and its vicinity. Moreover, we intend to empower our members through workshops, meetings and social events. The outcomes that we expect are the following- Afro students can come together to be part of a diverse Afro community - Raise awareness on the diversity within Afro cultures - Share our culture with others through organised social activities - Support new Afro students with integration - Impact the academic space in order to create a more inclusive and authentic experience for Afro students
