Afrocentric Oakland

Afrocentric Oakland is a fiscally sponsored 501(c)(3) dedicated to strengthening community, building bridges across the African diaspora, and improving the wellness of Black/African people in the bay area and beyond. We have been dedicated to this goal since 2010 serving over people over the past 14 years through our 3 annual cultural festivals that showcase, and celebrate the beautiful variety of Black/African people in the Bay Area. Our major festivals have been the PanAfrican Fest and Fam Bam which have recently merged together for a weekend long event called Oakland's Juneteenth Festival. Afrocentric Oakland's Juneteenth Festival is an annual event featuring holistic wellness workshops, a great variety of music, food, merchandise, non-profit and wellness vendors, interactive art installations, art competitions, exciting youth zones, a Black Father's Day tribute and more.
