Aft Pennsylvania

AFTPA is a professional union with 64 local affiliates in Pennsylvania. We represent public, private, and charter teachers and staff, college faculty and staff, and state professional employees. We fight for the rights of our members and students, negotiate fair contracts with excellent benefits, and we endorse political candidates whose values align with ours, and assist in advancing the teaching profession. Members of AFTPA are also members of the American Federation of Teachers, our national union that represents 1.7 million members in more than local affiliates nationwide.
