Aftes

The French Association of Tunnels and Underground Space (AFTES) aims to gather and mobilize all actors in the profession, investors, project owners, project managers, research and control offices, centers research and training, contractors, consultants, architects, planners, equipment manufacturers, teachers, etc. in order to : • to advance knowledge in his fields of competence, • exchange among its members and disseminate as widely as possible the recommendations of its Working Groups and more generally all technical, contractual, social, environmental, etc. it has, • promote the Underground Space and support all actions that contribute to making it known, • help develop and disseminate the know-how of French engineering, companies and manufacturers, • maintain technical input and doctrine production, • increase the interest of young engineers and technicians in the construction industry for the underground trades. AFTES is a national organization adhering to ITA (International Association of Tunnels and Underground Space).
