Agape Global: Love in Action After nearly a decade of providing village-style havens and holistic, life-enriching programs for orphans and the vulnerable in Africa, first in Ghana and later in Zambia, the nonprofit Project Nyame Nsa has rebranded as “Agape Global.” The word “agape” refers to unconditional, selfless love for others – the highest form of Christian love – and is often described as the love Jesus held for all humans. Agape Global will continue expressing God’s love through compassionate action by expanding its humanitarian efforts worldwide, wherever the need may be, in an effort to bring relief to the poor, hungry, orphaned, widowed, and others. “The meaning of Agape is so beautiful, and I think it really speaks to what we’re doing and what we're providing,” says founder Devon Leondis. “And what we always want to do is display the sacrificial love of Jesus to a broken world that is in need of so much love, care, and support.
