Agastya Foundation

Agastya Foundation works with women groups empowering them with Skills for employability. We conduct hands-on workshops, providing them with raw material to take-up embroidery, crochet work and macrame assignments. NaveenIndia.org conducts skill development training for deserving youth & fresh graduates to better their employment prospects. Most of these trainings have been digitised to enable farther reach. For rural youth, we plan adventure & outdoor activity based employment opportunities. Both Poornima and Naveen have years of experience in Skill development and Mentoring for youth development. Our training center is located in Belgaum, KA - India, and is fully equipped for Digital, Marketing and Skill development courses. Our mission is to empower women & their families by contributing to their self-reliance, providing employment to rural youth, reviving art forms which are otherwise vanishing and building economic stability among artisan families. Agastya Foundation strives to uphold the basic foundation of life by promoting livelihood, revive lost art-forms & uplifting women and the rural youth.
