Age Concern Auckland

Age Concern Auckland is a charitable organization dedicated solely to seniors aged 65 and over, providing services that connect, support, empower, celebrate, and respect the older members of our community. Each year, we receive tens of thousands of requests for help, ranging from advice and guidance to dedicated support for the most vulnerable older individuals in our community. Our work is divided into four key areas: 1. Intervention Services that support older people suffering from abuse, neglect, and social isolation, helping them to move from vulnerability to resilience. Ageing Well Services that assist older people in maintaining their independence, health, and activity level, allowing them to age in place with dignity and quality of life. Social Connection Services that mitigate loneliness, promote community involvement, and enable mobility, striving to reconnect older people with their local community. A dedicated Asian service that provides services and support in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese to meet the needs of the growing older Asian community. Overall, Age Concern Auckland works tirelessly to improve the lives of seniors and ensure they receive the care and support they deserve.
