Age UK Faversham & Sittingbourne is an independent local charity covering the areas of Faversham, Sittingbourne, Teynham and surrounding areas. We support over 50’s in our community in many ways We deliver three streams of services all of which work together to support people in a bespoke personalised way. Our clients and their families/carers are at the heart of the services we deliver. Independent Living Support We deliver a myriad of services to support an individual to remain independent at home. Community hot meals freshly cooked and delivered Domestic cleaning Laundry Meal preparation Shopping collection Prescription ordering and collection Pet care Gardening Handy person Befriending Transport to appointments Support and Transport for shopping Specialist Dementia Support MCST COGs Peer to Peer support Carers learning Memory cafes Fountain companionship Fountain specialist daycare Befriending Well-being activities include Centre based activities 1-1 companionship Befriending Day trips Walking sports Physical activities including hula hooping, supported swimming, armchair exercises and much more Arts & Crafts Book clubs Additional activities are often available.
