Agenomics believes in digital citizenship for all and is breaking down digital barriers. There is no opting out of our digital world! We accomplish this by focusing on older adults and companies that serve this demographic and we build an awareness of AI, social engineering, and data collection opportunities and risks. Older adults in Canada continue to increase their use of technology while also being the demographic reporting the highest level of fraud and cybercrime (CAFC, 2022). Older adults are too often overlooked by businesses and targeted education, often considered as being digitally-adverse. Too often cyber-safety tips are not in an accessible format, leaving this demographic more vulnerable to cyber-crime while also missing out on the advantages of our digital-society.
