Aggei è una società scientifica secondo quanto previsto dalle disposizioni vigenti. La sua storia inizia nel “lontano” 2001 a Bologna, grazie all’impegno e alle energie di giovani gastroenterologi, oggi di fama nazionale, quali Vincenzo Cennamo, Carlo Fabbri che, insieme a tanti altri giovani colleghi, tra cui il prof. Antonio Gasbarrini ancora oggi sostenitore di questa società, hanno sottoscritto il primo atto costitutivo.
