My Agile experience includes 22+ years of hands-on strategy, planning, leadership, scaling, coaching, training, and mentoring. My Agile (and prior) experience also includes delivery - Ensuring demonstrable outcomes from teams and programs.(I'm a former Software Engineer, Team Manager, IT Director, and Technical Delivery Lead. In each of these roles, I owned delivery and accountability or shared it with an equally committed few.) I've coached, trained, and facilitated the effective use of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum At Scale, Disciplined Agile, hybrid scaling frameworks, and team frameworks including Scrum and Kanban. Most of my work (from my Software Engineering roots onward) involved complex, challenged products and solutions that my employers or clients could not deliver on their own. I’ve been engaged by startups, Fortune 10 enterprises, global high-tech organizations, regional non-profits, software product organizations, consultancies, and many more business practitioners of all sizes and complexities in most vertical markets. I've succeeded building and scaling teams and programs, leading and facilitating complex business transformations, and planning and delivering challenged enterprise-wide solutions. Many engagements included key vendor partners whom I introduced to Agile and coached and trained to participate as client team peers.
