AgriDuka is an online multivendor agrovet marketplace that brings different stakeholders in the agricultural value chain, including farmers, agrovets, and agro-inputs manufacturers, together on one platform. AgriDuka provides access to a wide variety of agri-inputs from different agrovets and manufacturers. AgriDuka uses solar powered three wheeled vehicles to offer last mile delivery to farmers on demand, as well as use the same solar powered vehicle to transport farmers produce back to the market for free, thereby utilizing a clean form of renewable energy to do the delivery and play a part in protecting the environment from the pollution caused by public transport used by most farmers to travel to their towns to buy farm inputs. AgriDuka empowers the farmer to become an agribusiness by providing an opportunity for the farmer to sell their produce to interested customers. AgriDuka puts knowledge in the hands of the farmers. Farmers can find tips about the best seed varieties and agri-inputs that fit their soils and weather patterns, and learn about different issues arising from pests and diseases that cause crop failure and losses.
