The unique manufacturing process has provided Agrileaf access to the vast untapped market and enables Agrileaf to directly procure the raw materials from the farmers eliminating the intermediaries and pass-on the benefit to the farmers in the form of the increased price. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Through our network we have created employment over women in rural India. Our goal has been to stay as true as possible to the original craft product that is originally made by women. Our factories recycle the water used during manufacturing process and leftover leaf bits are used as food for livestocks such as cattle or turned into an organic compost. The Agrileaf areca products created solely from fallen leaves and water, there are no glues, plastics, lacquers, veneers, or toxins used in the process. MANUFACTURING PROCESS - Gather leaves Fallen palm leaves are collected and brought to our factories - Steam and Press The leaves are pressure washed in water and then steamed + sterilised and pressed to shape- Heat The palm leaf plates are then heated to finish the product. They will now retain the shape - Use & Enjoy The products are ready to display culinary creations + inspire new uses - Compost - Back to the earth
