Aharya -အာဟာရ

Introducing “Aharya - အာဟာရ,” a transformative social campaign spearheaded by two Myanmar youth as part of the 3rd ASEAN Youth Social Journalism Contest 2023, organized by the ASEAN Foundation. Our mission is to raise public awareness, accelerate, and educate the Myanmar community about nutritional knowledge. In Myanmar, the topic of food and nutrition has received limited attention. Access to nutritional knowledge and resources is scarce, perpetuating misconceptions and traditional beliefs surrounding everyday meals. Recognizing this critical gap, “Aharya - အာဟာရ” aims to deliver meaningful nutritional knowledge and engage in activities that bolster community resilience and understanding of nutritional challenges. With the support of nutritional experts and researchers, we will curate and share comprehensive knowledge on nutrition through engaging digital platforms. By promoting evidence-based nutritional practices and dispelling misconceptions, we aim to empower individuals to embrace healthier lifestyles, paving the way for improved well-being and overall resilience.
