I AM A GAMER because I am willing to lay it all on the line. I know that every game has the potential to lift my spirits to new highs or devastate me yet I play anyway.I AM A GAMER because I know that despite my best efforts I will always want more from myself. I will always want to know my limits so that I can exceed them.I AM A GAMER because I play! Not because I play well. Not because I win often.I AM A GAMER because I say I am. And no one can tell me I'm not.I've noticed some talk about people leaving mmo's at some point in the future and not playing them forever or how much and how often and having no life etc and it got me to thinking why are so many gamers so apologetic about gaming? I'm not sure I understand and especially from fellow gamers why gaming is considered such a waste of time you see it all the time in gaming forums.I only play when the weather is bad and I can't go out and shoot hoops or whatever blah blahthere is nothing particularly noble about heading off out for a round of golf / watching the game / kicking a ball around / catching a movie or sitting watching trains enter and leave a station etc
