ai mapit automatically detects and maps objects from street level imagery. Using computer vision and deep learning, the system identifies objects of interest visible in street level imagery and assigns a GPS coordinate to each object. The system can be trained to detect any street furniture, vegetation, facade elements and landmarks from optical imagery as well as utility infrastructure such as poles, road signs, drains etc. The technology provides infrastructure operators an automatic means to create an accurate, up-to-date digital inventory of their distributed network assets, replacing the manual process and thus increasing efficiency across the design, planning, operations and maintenance.
