Aidtrust is a multi-sectoral, non-profit, and non-governmental organization, established 2025, dedicated to promoting and sustainable community development and humanitarian relief across Somaliland, the Horn of Africa, and beyond. Established to address the urgent needs of vulnerable communities, Aidtrust integrates emergency response with long-term development initiatives to create lasting impact. We believe in trust, inclusivity, and resilience as guiding principles in all our interventions. Aidtrust operates through community-driven approaches, indepth evidence-based strategies, and partnerships with local and international stakeholders. AidTrust – Key Organizational Objectives 1. Deliver Humanitarian Assistance • Provide rapid, life-saving support in emergencies including food, shelter, health, and water for affected communities. Strengthen Sustainable Livelihoods • Promote agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and small business development to reduce poverty and build self-reliance. Expand Access to Basic Services • Improve health, education, water, sanitation, and housing for marginalized and underserved populations. Enhance Community Infrastructure • Support construction and rehabilitation of essential facilities, roads, markets, and renewable energy systems. Promote Environmental Protection & Climate Resilience • Implement conservation, reforestation, and climate adaptation programs to safeguard ecosystems and livelihoods. Empower Youth, Women, and Vulnerable Groups • Strengthen participation, skills, and leadership opportunities for inclusive development and social equity. Foster Good Governance & Accountability • Uphold transparency, community participation, and partnerships with governments, NGOs, and the private sector.
