Airframe Designs are based in Blackpool, providing advanced engineering design and additive manufacturing services within the NW aerospace supply chain. We are experts in the stress analysis, digital design, certification of airframe and mechanical structures, and additive manufacturing using industry standard engineering tools. We have widespread experience in the aviation sector across different platforms, supporting airframe, tooling, and product design. Our production facility houses an array of 3D printers, scanners and other necessary equipment to enable the production of high quality aviation parts. AFD holds certifications in AS9100D, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, JOSCAR and Cyber Essentials Plus.
