We take a modern movement approach to teaching Yoga, Tai Chi and Chi Kung while maintaining a deep respect for these practices. Alongside these ancient traditions we have the modern approach of Pilates, Strength and Suspended or Supported resistance as well as preventation and rehabilitation approach, much of it we are unique delivering. A regular movement practice enables you to function better for longer in everyday life, whether it's walking the dog, playing sport or looking after the children. It can help support injury recovery and prevention and enhance performance. The meditation and breathing aspects of the practices we teach can bring a sense of calm, help shift chronic stress patterns and create greater self-awareness. Running alongside all of these we have our Movement and Therapy Clinic with the ability to treat everything from Sports Injuries, Mental, Physical and Emotional Trauma to just giving yourself the space with Soft Tissue, Hot Stone or Swedish. Like Akarmalife we blend East meets West from Indian, Chinese and Western approaches to health and wellbeing.
