Akshaya U.S.A. is a not-for-profit organization that supports humanitarian efforts in Madurai, India. The founder and top ten CNN Hero - 2010 - Narayanan Krishnan, founder of Akshaya's Helping in H.E.L.P Trust is an award winning chef who was headed to Switzerland to work in a 5-star restaurant, when his life was forever changed on the streets of his home town Madurai. Today Krishnan serves 3 meals a day, 7 days a week to the destitute who live on the streets of Madurai. He is constructing the Akshaya Home to one day be able to remove the homeless off the streets, nourish them back to health. Akshaya USA was founded to make Krishnan's mission global and help him complete the Akshaya home sooner. Join us in accomplishing this monumental task of "Helping the Helpless".
