Akwa Creative Lab

We are a production company focused on high-impact transmedia narratives. Akwa Creative Lab was created by Amanda Fernandes. She has been working in the audiovisual sector for over a decade. Her films and series have won more than 30 awards at festivals around the world, including LAWebFest, Gramado Film Festival and Brasilia Film Festival. At Akwa, her aim is to develop transmedia and interactive narratives, creating international IPs for children and female audiences. She is currently debuting as a director in 'Lírio', a 2D animated series co-produced with Chile. Also, as an author, she has built the fantasy world 'Ashänkya' and developed her short films trilogy 'The Three Colors of Water'-'Metamorfosis','Syncopa' and 'Empire'. Since 2022, she has worked in the Latin American market, based in Brasilia, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
